Van

The Volkswagen Type 2, known officially as the Transporter, Kombi or Microbus, or, informally, as the hippie van, is a panel van introduced in 1950 by the German automakerVolkswagen .

The car concept for the Type 2 is credited to Dutch Volkswagen importer Ben Pon. At first the Germany factory had produced up to 60 cars per day , but in the 1951 the number has increased to 200 cars per day.  Volkswagen still produce this kind of van in Brasil

T1 had different uses such as : ambulance, car police and fire truck. This van was in special used by the hippies in the '60s as caravans.
